The role will involve assisting on litigation files including, personal injury, contentious probate, landlord and tenant, property, and debt collection. Conveyancing Paralegal - Wiltshire (Part-time)

Residential Conveyancing ParalegalChadwick Nott are working with an award-winning residential property firm based in London who are looking to hire a Residential Property Paralegal to join their growing team.The role will involve handling a variety of sale and purchase transactions with the support and supervision of an experienced, qualified Fee Earner and supported by wider team of Fee Earners, Paralegals and Legal Assistants.Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) handling your own caseload of sale &amp; purchase files under supervision, updating clients and introducers on the progress of matters, raising and responding to enquiries, interrogating responses and providing detailed reports to clients as well as dealing with pre-exchange and completion issues. You will have knowledge of the sales, purchase and re-mortgage process and be comfortable running a mixed caseload of files with appropriate supervision.The successful candidate must possess a law degree (ideally 2:1 or above) or an equivalent law qualification. They are currently looking for a Paralegal to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team in Shirehampton, Bristol.The role will involve assisting the busy Fee Earner in their day to day work by providing support and an efficient secretarial and administrative service. Duties will include:<ul><li>Assisting the fee earner with residential property matters to include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, right to buy and transfers of equity</li><li>Preparing correspondence and documents (including audio typing using digital dictation)</li><li>Working directly with clients, agents and other fee earners to ensure a seamless service</li><li>Dealing with file set up and administration</li><li>Assisting with post exchange aspects of purchase and sale transactions and seeing them through to completion</li><li>Assisting with all aspects of post completion matters including title registration and SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) returns, etc.</li></ul>To be considered, you must have some conveyancing paralegal or legal secretarial experience.On offer is a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.
